Here at Flashpoint we take the safety of our shows extremely seriously. Although fire performances can appear dangerous (and definitely are without proper safety measures) we pride ourselves in providing your guests a thrilling experience with no real danger. We are proud to say that we have never had a serious safety incident occur during any of our shows. In addition to years of practical experience performing our shows we have also worked with TV and film crews to provide safety protocols for fire screen stunts; you can be sure you’re in safe hands.
For ease of use a brief run down of our main safety measures with our full risk assessment below that. With each booking we will review the performance area and highlight any new potential safety issues so that they can be properly assessed and minimised. If you would like to discuss individual safety requirements then please feel free to get in touch.
Fire Show Safety Measures:

- A minimum distance of at least three meters to be set between the audience and the nearest flame.
- In indoor venues a minimum of 5 meters height above the performance area.
- Foam or dry powder fire extinguishers to be on hand during the show as they are suitable for both class A and class B fires.
- Fueling of props to occur in an isolated area and props to be minded by artists or briefed event staff from the moment of fueling until the moment they are extinguished.
- Each section of the show to have their own extinguishing towels with extras on hand if needed.
